Construction of a new 30,000 sq ft high bay storage facility undertaken on a negotiated Design & Build basis for all elements.

The works briefly comprised considerable earthwork removal, deep pad foundations, retaining walls, ‘super flat’ floor slab to accommodate the high bay racking, structural single span portal frames, plastisol coated cladding system, dock leveller loading bays & sectional doors, fire compartmentation, electrical installation, new surface water drainage system incorporating hydro brakes & an overflow lagoon for on site water retention and new concrete hard standing aprons.

This scheme was constructed on a live site where the Client's transport packaging and warehouse activities could not be disrupted, together with restricted access and egress.

Completion on programme and availability of the new facility assisted our Client in securing a sizeable order from an industry market leader.
